PB Blue Groper on the rod and reel

i was lucky enough to take paul worsteling from ifish, scott coghlan from western angler and the film crew out and filmed a day of rock fishing on the southern stones and managed this fish and was all caught on camera. my PB blue groper on rod a reel and even better to have it all filmed for national TV!!

About time we showed these eastern staters theres more to fishing shows than bream and flathead!
oh dont forget the barras they endlessly catch from guide boats , thats a real thrill!!!!
haha I have often thought when pulling in monster salmon , chunky greenough tailor , metro macks or a red or two
gee those boys dont know what there missing!
I hope you told them that was a one off, dont wont the south stones being invaded by mexicans, coachroachs or god help us canetoads!
All tongue in cheek , anybody who makes the effort and does the time ( like chrisfish) deserves the rewards.

My guess would be filming duty of care but really isnt a bad idea when fishing off the stones down south.

I normally don't wear one to be honest but as this was for TV and trying to set an example we all had them on. The spots we fish we are very careful with where and when we go and if fishing with other confident people like my brother and a few mates we look out for each other.

top marks for the safety gear too mate , way too many people have died of the rocks thinking they where all safe and ok ,
good examples like yours on film will help push the safety & education message in wearing a vest and tying off on the rings when rock fishing
