Hope photo explains . Not hard cheap. Rope in middle to join shark clip. Pull them up level. I only dive ( don't pull) lol . Also got to remember occy may feed in one spot . Make resident in other hole . Hence 2 holes . In this tyre. Big 4 wheel drive tyres get 3 holes. No expert on matter . But cheap option. Don't get me wrong ones you buy work exellent . But they get stolen. They take a week to start catching . Then there all go go from there. Also make sure you keep them clean . Occy very fussy . Nothing like clean hole. They like clean . Hence eating hole . Resting hole. :):):)

Hard to say
Depends on area. ( Sth or nth)I always go where razor mussels are. Most big occy are in very shallow. Find big patches of razors. Occo not far away. I would go shallow weed with small sand patches. Don't beilieve myth of pots in sand. ( sand fills pots) light weed protects pots from filling up with crap .

Black poly pipe
Use about 15 inches of 4 inch diameter poly pipe, block off one end and add enough lead to sink it, tie 50lb mono fishing line to other end and when setting tie a small white blob / float to the line so that it sits about a foot underwater at mid tide.
Ping it on your gps so you know where to start looking when you go to check them. The white floats are easy to pick up when you know where to look but hard for others to spot by accident

Occy. Pvc .black poly tube all work. Weighted down . Anything works. Everything gets stolen . So go the cheapest option. And hope people only take occy and not gear.trust me doesn't happen. Found some of my old gear today 100 percent mine. Left it. They obviously need it more than me. Carma will bite them. Tyres seem to not get stolen as much. But they still go:):) people suck, time, effort, location . Funny .
