My unlucky, lucky rod and reel

My unlucky/luckiest rod and reel ever. True story.
I was fishing in the afternoon and got a run on my flick rod first. I was actually targeting baitfish but a proper decent fish latched on and took off thumping and running. Anyway it headed off and underneath my other set big rod. (Unlucky/lucky rod) As it went underneath I felt the fish going under a reef snag so I yanked it upwards quickly and in the process knocked lifted my set rod up out of the rod holder. There it goes down to Davey Jones locker my Terez rod and Fin Nor Lethal reel. Faarrrkkk and at the same time the fish on the flick rod snagged up solid to the reef. I put the flick rod in the holder and left it there under slight tension but loose enough not to break.I immediately got another rod and lure and casted down alongside the flick rod line hoping I could snag my rod back but after ages of trying and a couple more lures and hooks lost to the reef I stopped trying. DAM I was annoyed but carried on fishing leaving the flick rod snagged so I knew the area the rod went over and also maybe the fish would swim out at least catching something decent.
Everytime I put a bait down I dropped it close to the flickrod hoping that I might snag the other rod.Now this happened around 4pm aprox and I carried on fishing giving up hope about getting it back. Another hour or so later a Squid picked up a bait I didn't have a sinker on and came to the surface tangling around the anchor rope and my other line. I leaned over the front untangling it and dropped the other line back. As I sat down I went faarrkk shiitte that was actually the lost rods line and not my other line and I'd dropped it back. Now I was even more upset and pissed off. Thought I'd stuffed my chanced well and truly. Carried on fishing and a few hours later wind changed and I noticed I'd swung 30m away from original spot so I up anchored and moved back all the while the snagged flick rod was still snagged so loosened drag while I moved position back. I Again carried on fishing.
At aprox 11.00pm around seven hours later I pulled up one of my lines to check it. I felt a bit of extra pressure and found out I snagged the flick rod hook minus the fish. Now miraculously somehow the braid from my lost rod and reel had gone through the eye of the tiny hook. I started pulling it in but found it tangled in weed. I started boat and started manoeuvring around and gradually started to pull more line in. Eventually after pulling the whole spool full of braid length, it was still connected and I got it back all covered in seaweed. Shook the weed off and it still turns and works as if it never went for a salt bath Whooohooo I got it back my luckiest rod and reel ever.
