bargain
i had that landed here and fully registered with 60 hrs on the motors for$ 51,000 then i spent $6,000 on getting a full array of the best l.e.d.s i could find and a re wire(as the u.s wiring was not as good as i would like , thanks Quentin at all boat business),i also spent 7,000 getting the trailer as new(the boat had been stored inside a yacht club warehouse and the trailer outside) so for $64,000 its a real bargain for a 26 foot boat with twin outboards!! you can't buy that here !! i sold my 1 year old trailcraft for $60,000 and paid cash for the new one !! and for those who are wondering the only real "hidden costs" are in getting the trailer made narrower when it gets here although i have heard of people getting the trailer sorted over in the u.s before shipping. would i do it again?? the answer to that is that i'm looking at upgrading to a proline 27 soonish(i miss the cabin for sleeping!!!) cheers one final tip, i paid $300 u.s. to have a shipwright water test the boat and examine it and give me a report before i bought it and although the boat was perfect it still gave me confidence while i waited for it to come over cheers

$300 on a $60,000 boat is cheap for peace of mind! Certainly a good idea to do.
Boat looks awesome, and for the price its a steal. How can you miss the cab? CC's all the way :D

American boats
The thing to watch is their beam. They are all 8ft 6 inches which is 9 cm over the 2.5 meter max allowed on WA roads. Making the trailer narrower is not solving that problem. You can only tow "legally" with a permit. Be aware that your insurance company may walk away from any accident claim if you dont have that permit.
Twin turbo..V8 diesel..Ohh what a feeling!!

as you know NOHA
Im the manager of a transport and crane company so i'm well aware of the regulations, but its a small price to pay to get a permit for oversize and the more beam the better within reason!

Does the oversize permit mean
Does the oversize permit mean you can then tow out of daylight hours? I seem to recall there being a restriction on that? (Perhaps for no permits?)

Nice Rigi've got a custom
Nice Rig
i've got a custom built Ali Boat at 8 metres by 2.85 wide the xtra width is a blessing, just towed it to Exmouth and back with a permit(oversize) that cost $50 for 3 years and restricts me from towing at night and on Freeways(small price to pay for the extra beam)

you have to make some adjustments
but its is a small price to pay for such a big boat you forget the restrictions once you are out on the water, and saturdays there is no curfew so from first light you are good to go and all day during the weekdays however you are all go from first light to 9.00 am which is a long time in summer and that window gets shorter in winter but really it's all sweet> cheers

y not
i agree mate once youve gone over 7 metres long most boats are over the max unrestricted width so you just get used to it!i just wonder how i'm going to tow thatb proline 27 or carribean 27 i want!!LOL i'll have to get an F250!!!

range
it holds 587 litres so with twin 115 4strokes the range is further than i would ever go and will be good for extended trips!!!

the guy i imported this through has sent about 10 pro line c/c's and walkarounds and a couple of seafox and sailfish boats to Karratha in the last year so you will probably see a few u.s. boats in your travels. cheers mate
