Different Spaniard but big jumps. This one popped the lure out during mid flight. The lure was a Gillies stick bait.

All summer
See it happen a lot during the changeover months from warmer to cold, when I went out with the faulkners earlier this year we had them jumping all over the horizon. Best i've seen yet is with gully where a 45-50kg spaniard jumped that high out of the water with a 5kg tuna in its mouth, looked like a dog with a bone, was one of the most crazy things I've seen.

they always seem to get
they always seem to get airborne when you're using surface lures. Had one go a popper last week when I was popping for GTs, and he got just as far out the water. Looks sik.
