Last Drift
Went out for a fish up at Two Rocks yesterday with Ryan from Oceanside. Seabreeze and BOM both got it wrong; by about 15 knots, with us getting our arses handed to us most of the day. So the water was dirty inside and the fish weren't interested. We headed out wider and still struggled to get fish to take a jig. We did get a couple of dhues, a pinky and BA for our efforts (one dhu and the pinky released). Time was against us as we headed back in. We stopped at a little spot that hadn't been fished (by us anyway) for quite a while. First drift over the spot and double hook-up, oh yeah baby. Two 10kgs Dhufish. Now that's a great way to end the day.
Thanks Ryan for turning what we both agreed was a pretty ordinary day into a great one on the last drift. Let's just say we were due a dhu, my PB on jig even better.

Dhufish
Yep crap weather Friday. But persisted on our known duie spot off Quinns and waited till 2.30 then wham eight one after the other on baits jigs and softies. Proving to me they do come on the bite at times of the day.

You're right Adam, quality pic. Ryan knows how to point the camera. Great result from a rushed effort, trying to get a sunset shot when you're still 15+ miles from the ramp is always a challenge.

Privileged
Cheers Frank. A real bastard of a day on the water but it ended on a high. It's always a learning experience and a privilege to fish with Ryan. He's probably forgotten more than I'll ever know, about fishing anyway. ;)
