Just back from Exmouth

Nice little trout caught on a jig with a little cocktail. Big John's home made Lead Heads worked a treat as well.

I actually let him go. Beautiful fish. He was about 48cm. Only a little tacker. I'll catch him next time

48cm

48cm is pretty good size for a coral cod! Size limits only 30cm.  Usually suffer pretty badly from Baro unless brought up slowly.

He wasnt that deep

Not very deep and I didnt boof him up too hard feeling he wasnt a monster. Spanglies are only 45cm but I've never kept one that small.I would be embarrassed to eat a Coral Cod at 30cm even though it is legal and everyone who gets one has every right to keep and eat it.
