Wow, it doesn't look to bad out there at all. So what was the catch count? Who got all the fish? Any stories worth telling??? No caps left of hooks this time....... ;)
Scotty 'Nofish' Streetfighter strikes again hey. Think thats going to be a permanent fixture to your name now. ;))
So no Sambos? Had a few mates that went out on Sunday jigging for them and couldn't find them anywhere... Bit early for them to start moving on I would have thought...
I managed one crab for about 4 hours scooping in Mandurah. Never seen so much sea grass. The place we scooped first near Yunderup was just amazingly thick with sea grass. Very healthy water but you couldn't see jack sh!t in the water.
Later fished Golden bay for one yellow fin whiting and a heap of herring.
We also pulled a heap of mussles off the old bridge and had chilli mussels for dinner so it wasn't all that bad.
Sounds like this charter is still trying to get its act together.I thought sambo's were thick out there at the moment????
Hope Jay enjoyed himself after looking forward to this for ages.
They were fishing near Shikari and said they didn't see anyone hookup on there either. When we were out there last week the schools werent that thick at all, still enough to have confidence in jigging for them, but nothing like last years agg....
Sorry to tell you this buddy, its not the top, think it might have something to do with the angler!!! See Andy and Scotty were wearing theirs and they got into fish! You'll have to take me for a fish on SS bullit burbon and I will show you how its done. :) Other than that, you've probably got a charter jinx!
If the orange shirt is that lucky then we will discuss it over a burbs or two. :) But, last time you wore the orange shirt on a charter you got the kidney stones... I'm not being help responsible or liable.
I've seen people start drinking at 5, but not polish off a whole carton of bullits just after midday, now that was scary!!
im always up 4 a few burbs you know me, even better when i dont have to drive too!!
its just charters and me the fluro has always been good to me, landed me alot of new fish last yr 17.5kg dhuie, my first ever tuna's, queenies, harly, samon which ended up spooling me as i was fishing for kgs!!
when do ya catch up 4 a dring?
shamu yeah that was a late start that morning started bout 0415 as i couldnt be fagged putting the kettle on and i was already in the fridge loading them up 4 pur trip out.

Was still a fun day even
Was still a fun day even though the sambos weren't playing the game. We ate the gummy tonight and it turned out alright.
Got footage of Honsus amber on the 20lb gear that looks OK... couple of rat sambos and a skippy or two.
Good thing the Gimp was there to keep us amused ;p
I'll be back next year to jigg up some BIG sambos :)
