today at the disabled platform. all together i caught 8 skippy and 1 undersize pink snapper. i used 3 skippy for bait. i also lost about 5 skippy at the rocks or into the reef

They fought bloody hard on 2kg line.
i take a strip of about 1/2cm to 1 cm of one side and then cut that into two and it fits perfectly on a long shank. i used a small free running ball sinker above a 10lb leader atached via swivel.

they were around for most the day. a few yellowfin bream featured in other peoples catches for the day.
no sign of salmon yetUndecided. ill keep persisting though!

i just cast way over the top of em. i usually use 1oz star sinkers on my bigger rod and 1/2oz bal sinkers on my smaller rods.
