what a day out
caught seven small dhuies from the same tiny lump and thats my firts harlequin in local waters. i released that many red snappers and five dhuies in a day full of adventure. even got a kingie and a hammerhead. what a day

Look like relatively shallow water specimens (no evidence of barotrauma) but if you were catching red snappers in amongst them I would have thought it would be out wide?

Lovely Harley Mike. They have the smallest of scales that get everywhere hey, unless you fillet and skin them without letting the finished fillet touch the filleting board. The taste is worth it though.

yeah i had a ball i was out in 70 meters first didnt get anything worth rating a mention so i headed inwards to 45 meters where i found a nice lump that came up to 39 very tiny lump with lots of fish. small pinkies and red snapper every drop.had a small hammerhead too but he didnt like the look of me boat.

Well done Mike, nice fish for in-close and yeh nice Harley alright. That Downunder F/G ice box is what i use....they're awesome eh!

have tried to get back out to the spot but its been to rough for me i need a glassy day. and yeah that ice bow is really good have used it as a beer esky for parties and it kept ice in it for four days and only on the last day did it start to melt. good esky that on
