Isn't right time of year or moon phase for what these guys trying to do. There all full . Mainly males. Water temp unsure ? Coming on surface in dark without big moon. Definately got me.
Picked up a 86cm model and dropped another Sunday morning before the sharks came around, one of the larges bronzies i ever seen did a few surface drive byes.
Beautiful Pink flesh...very tasty feed last night. Charter was still working close for a few hours before heading off.

Are you guys catching them
Are you guys catching them where you normally would in winter?
The reason I ask is there are alot around down this way, where we normally get them in the traditional snapper time, which is quite unusual.
Either a late or early run?
