Spanish mack in this one,

Spanish mack in this one, worked well all up.  There's some brown rice buried under all that sauce too.

One minor difference to the recipe was we used natural yogurt instead of cream.

Sounds delicious, I would've gone the yogurt too had a look at the recipie and from the look of the spices etc the yogurt would be a refreshing type of addition.

Yeah we thought that bite that natural yogurt has would have worked better with all that spice. Can't say it worked better as we haven't tried it with cream, but it did work

fish laksa

Tue, 2014-04-08 15:25

With 8 bar cod being so firm i tried a fish laksa and it really hit the spot. Is the yoghurt replacing coconut milk or is it just an extra ? Plenty of coriander and thai veges.

Cream

We replaced the 'Bulla' cream with yoghurt twitcher.

The cream would still work well though I reckon... if we do it again we'll try it with the cream and see how it goes.  I think it would be a bit smoother tasting.

Just realised we put coconut milk in instead of cream.

We put natural yoghurt on top when it was on the plate!

Sorry if anyone tried it and it buggered up the flavour!
