So much fun
this is the most exciting time you will ever have fishing its you the fish and the river some battles can last an hr or more
you dont try to horse these fish in the will best you every time these fish are by far not stupid they know they canb run you around a rock and snap ya off they also know that if they run out to the faster water they can sit and take it easy and regain there strength and continue the fight
you have to know the river and the fish the species of fish in the river all fight differentlly
Chum Strong heavy fighters right to the bitter end
Chinooks Huge fish But like to sulk and will head for the deep water and sit there till you can get them to move they are like a rock
Coho modertally sized fish but very smart you get them on a hook and you best be on your A game or youll loose them
i have had guys get pissed at me cause i can land them one after the other but i know my fish they dart they jump and they charge at you
when they charge you you bets be ready for it cause you give them slack and they are gone mostlly cause we must use barbless hooks
wich bring in a new set of skill sets when fishing these fish
Sockeye and Pinks are smaller fish and not very hard fighting but both have soft mouths so any hard cranking on them you will rip out the hooks
these usually range from 2 to 6 lbs but i have seen them as high as 10lbs
