Good tactic having a squid jig clipped to your swivel above your paternoster, while fishing for whiting. Best whiting today went 31cm.

They don't squirt ink from where you left hand is positioned, it comes from further down. Good size squid and sounds like the whiting were good as well

Yep
Very fat whiting Wade.
Some of the biggest I have seen in a while. Averaging High 20's and some over 30cm.

In 32 metres out from Mindarie
Deep water for squid fishing I know, but its often a good ploy when chasing whiting in these depths.
