Cockburn Goyne Help

Cockburn Goyne Help

I am wondering if anyone who has fished down Cockburn way can help me. I am going on a tour of the Australian Marine Complex next week and I want to tie it in with a fishing expedition to the Cockburn Groyne. You will note in the attached photo that there is a wide wharf just north of the big shed. Just north of that wharf is the start of the Groyne wall. I have read that there is good snapper fishing on the corner of that groyne. Can anyone tell me if the groyne is still accessible to the public? And if so, can you drive your car out there?
Many thank for your help, Colin Hay

Don't know what happened to my pic. Maybe it was too big.

That's pretty weird Col, when I first enter this thread, I see an outline as if your pic is going to display (download), then it dissapears with just a text thumbnail link. That there is a thumbnail would suggest the pic did upload on the server. Maybe it's a problem with displaying the size.

I read that the secret is to cast towards the big wharf to the south.
