We decided to take my boat out for a fish at leeman on thursday 13th oct. There was my boat and my mates boat, we were trying for dhuies but the seas were not too good for us.
On our first drift we landed a baby dhuie and my mate had a great fight with something angry but got pinged off half way up so we tried for a few more drifts then i thought i got snagged but...no feeling a little bit worse for wear i managed to pull the ray off the ground and in the boat after a little struggle.
so after this my mate decided to produce some burley for us and as soon as i heard the gut wrenching hhhwwoooooooo ....it was like peer pressure and i was forced to join in.
at the end of the 1/2 day between us all we landed 3 dhuies a ray and few n/w blowies.
