Bream

This is a small bream i got from canning a while back. a few weeks before, i had my braid to mono knot slip on me while hooked onto a small fish. this fish has what im sure is my hook in its mouth! slightly rusted, didnt seem to affect it in anyway. i removed it and released him well. The EWG hook was the hook i was using at the time, the other one was a normal kirby or something.

what would be the chance of
what would be the chance of that happening.
would be interesting to knpow how long hooks will last in the mouth of a fish before they rust out
