i work as a fitter with the tugs up here, one of 2 transport boats to get up to 2 of our tugs moored up the harbour as we have run out of space in the "tug haven", the ramp wasnt too bad today, launched the boat at 8.30am so the water was fairly low about a foot of sand and rocks on the ramp for maybe 10m, work truck couldn't make it up tor ramp so out came the tow rope and yanked it out with the trusty tojo
Yes mate have had the last couple of months off training in Perth, getting ready to start a new job .We have had to move back to Perth for family/ better job reasons. Enjoyed our time up there, had great fun, but back in the city for us. Taking the boat out this weekend, first time i have been out for months, im hanging.
Not a real croc. Just a sculpture. Good for getting newbys excited though. I like to pull up right next to it then point it out when it's right next to them.

Nobody answered the croc question. I suspect its a model just
warning, but I have never been to the Hedland ramp, so unsure.
