Fisho-Ron - Thanks for your help in the other thread, I made up a light rig similar to yours from a spotlight kit at auto one that was on special for 39$, but only running it from some extra batteries. We were out on the river on Friday night in Rocky Bay. There were probably 8-9 boats setup, but unfortunately the prawns didnt come to the party.
Tryed a bit of squidding around the boat with the light but no joy. Also im a twit as I didnt take any bait though I had tackle and would have probably got some herring. I was also tempted to go for a Dive as the water clarity was so good, but I didnt like the idea of getting wet and then sitting on the boat for hours. After seeing the conditions on Friday I will be watching the moon and tides closely as I reckon it would be a heap of fun when the prawns really run.
