no release, these are probably one of the best table fish going....at any size. Unfortunately, they are pretty well stuffed after the fight from 130M(which is really shallow for these fish. They are a bicatch when chasing kingies, which do release really well.

Wow that is a very decent fish , looks awesome , 130 metres shit that is deep aye , arms would ahve been busted ? My arms feel a lil heavy draggin up a dhuey from 50metres on a handline haha , makes it more worth while i reckon

Wish he we had them in that depth here, cant beat getting them on a jig.....a big buzz that's for sure!

Had some of my Bass Groper (my 27kg fish) and despite the shoulder meat being thick'ish we cooked it up that way to see how it was & wow.....delishes =)
