Getting you amped
Just getting you guys amped for your coming trip.
Brad this is the south eastern tip of Long Island. Nice deep sandy anchorages on both sides of this point so you have various options depending on the prevailing winds.

Long Island
My mates and I camped the night on that piece of beach and moored our boats just out from where your swimming John. The wind was blow'n South West all avo and all night at about 30-40 knots luckily it droped in the morning so we could go home. I've also camped on the other side of the Island we had perfect conditions and caught plenty of fish. Highlight was when one of my crew hooked a Sailfish on a unweighted Mulie the Sail put on a awesome acrobatic display before busting off. Would be my fav spot to fish off Onslow.
Cheers Kev.

Uncle, the amount of bait around the place is unbelievable. The switch is going to get flicked in a big way soon!

Bombies
Didn't see to many on the eastern side but I really only called in there for a swim Adam. Plenty of potential down there though. If your interested in teaming up let me know and I might be able to meet you guys down there. Only a 25nm run for me.:0
