Honestly it is killing me! could of done a all nighter into the morning and then the rest of the day and then come home with at least some nice fish for dinner

this was last yr in august
this was last yr in august it was beautiful out there.
we were anchored in a massive drop off and burleyd all nite for sharks and got them but they smoked us over and over. we hooked a massive one on a live herring and it bit through 150lb wire trace. but we landed some so it was good and they tasted great.

was ther no swell over night?
love the noise and seeing your drag peeling off the spool but no too much. i was at ocean reef where i cought my first eagle ray at 8.5kgs i was expecting a whiting so i took down my 8 ft surfy with about 400m of 15lb and this thing nearly spooled me. It was funny though i was lying on the beach listening to my Ipod wen my Rod gets tugged and pulled down on the beach wen i forgot to loosen the drag a bit :) and it was getting dragged into the water.

nar there was no swell or wind over the nite it was awsome.
the boat just sat there the anchor rop had a massive vally in it so it showed that there was no wind or swell or current.
