Nice
You'll have to give yourself a 'photo of the month' prize if your not careful. Top shot.

I am almost certain
That its hooked in the gob, and has spun the line around its girth, the line tropped by its dorsal fin and gills???
Great looking fish.

Thanks All
A great feeling and one I will remember for the rest of my life.
Special thanks to skipper Adam for finding the fish and getting it hooked for me whilst I was getting into the harness (a story in it's self) and Pete D for some awesome deckie work on the leader. I still have "marlin hands" thanks to the fingerless gloves I borrowed whilst swimming the fish. Looked every bit of 70kgs, but then again I am biased.
Jumped like crazy and had everyone ducking below the gunnels at one stage, as it leapt towards the boat with three successive jumps, leaving me standing there on high alert trying to keep the line from going slack as it came at us. Luckily it swerved just a couple of meters from the boat or I could have been shishkebabbed!!!
I feel honoured to have helped Adz christen his new boat and pop my marlin cherry all at the same time... happy days!
Anyone know the phone number for Marlin Fishers Annonymous... I might just be addicted now!!
PS: As Poddy said, it was hooked fair and square in the mouth right near the eye, but the line wrapped around and over the head at one stage with the lure moving up the line as usual. It was a very active fish with well over a dozen jumps, hence the lure placement in the pic.
Cheers
