Had a play with one today looks and feels pretty good, one thing i noticed is that the length of the handle is a bit short....on the 950

Thats all I would put on it ,

I have 3 X 850SS penns running 6 spools of different lines ,
6kilo mono,
10 kilo mono,
15 kilo mono,
20 lb braid,
30 lb braid

& 50 lb braid .

and I use the 50 the least , not many beach situations need 50 lb , only when muscling nasty reef fish out of holes up Steep point , False Enterance in shark bay or up Quobba .

And I usually use my 9 wrapp whopper stopper and Alvey deep spool with 24 kilo mono on it for that type of fishing anyway.
