it's actually the same rule for Marron in South Oz. They are an introduced pest and it is illegal to return any to the water so it's as many as you can catch then pig out!
Its on my pops farm off of the coalfields highway and the gate is always locked haha... What made you think that was the area they were in... do you know of private dams in that area with yabbys?

Because they are an introduced species, there is no bag limit. It is asked that you keep ALL you can and not release any. Same as redfin perch.
Because they compete with our marron and often out compete them for food and ruin our waterways
