XL snook in smoke

 Had a quick go at it yesterday arv .. few around

With some size dropped a couple. Trolling

shallow divers doin the trick . Launched at 2pm

back at ramp 4pm .. gave 4 away and chucked

the others in the smoker with a raw sugar and

sea salt rub to help along with the taste .

Most are ok . Found apple not

 the greatest . Best for meats I'd say.

says on most packages if it's good for

Smoke a few tailor and to my taste most wood chips are OK, except the apple ones that gave a sort of sweet/aromatic flavour. Have used some old  jarrah as well and it was fine.
