I saw this too but it's a bit different to the official forecast, who do you believe?
Saturday 17 February
Winds South to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots.
Seas 1 to 2 metres.
Swell Southwesterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning.
I use a few different weather apps and this weekend is shapingup to be pretty good at this stage on most of the site i use, ive been out every morning for the last 5 and the wind has turned as predicted so fingers crossed saturday does what it says and im shooting out wide in search of a billfish and hopefully the Fads on the way back in for a look..... Itll be the best weather weve seen in months so keeping the fingers crossed
My son has a beach bbq with his karate club at Whitfords Nodes park Sunday morning at 10am. Does anyone know if you're allowed to anchor up just in front of the park as that'll buy me an extra hour on the water.
That Seabreeze graph shown above is almost certainly an onshore/land forecast. Different story offshore, which is what the Fishranger/BOM forecast is showing.
