Yep, sad day, the guy was funny as and as sharp as a tack. Just had a look on YouTube this afternoon for one of his skits called the front fell off. Have a look, it was John Clark at his very best.

He was respected on both sides of the ditch
Fred Dagg was my era and I recall the piss take of the kiwi country life well. Some of his skits with Bryan Dawe in Aus are very funny.

"The Games" was brilliant
And his Thursday night ABC slots with Brian Daw were gold, every time. Such a keen eye for the ludicrous. Will be sadly missed.
