Without seeing the termination underneath, I can't really say.

Termination seems to be above the spring but I can't seperate the spring from the antenna to get to it. Didnt want to use to much force but maybe needs it

Just unscrew the spring

Just unscrew the spring from the Antenna and poke it back in the hole, the outer braid just needs to be tight around the bolt with the hole in when you screw it back in.

hope this makes sense, Termination should be up through the bottom of the spring

if you need a hand pm me, your number and i can send you a pic

No probs Steve, the spring seperates just above the top coil of the spring, dont try seperating higher or it will be a bin job

Looking at your photo and the instructions i have linked you need a new PL259 connector that's all. but you'll have to get past that spring first to access the old connector. you don't need a new antenna that's for sure. You'll need a soldering iron or if you can't be arsed go to a 4x4 shop or car audio store and ask them to fit one off for you, should only cost you pilbara currency for that (a carton)

Well it's fixed now but if

Well it's fixed now but if it was a crimp style he would need a new one, screw type yeah he'd be able to reuse. You risk reflections when you transmit if you dodgy your termination and you'll lose range on transmissions and poorer receive
