Thank You Exmouth
Hello FW crew, haven’t post anything in a while but thought I would put up a few pictures of my week in Exmouth. First time in Exmouth and I can say it will not be the last.
What a week if it wasn’t the whales and the 10 plus foot hammerhead shark that came up to the boat 12 mile out in the gulf to the snake that tried to climb into my mates tackle bag. The weather was great too.
But the highlight would have to be the around 7 foot Sailfish WE caught in 15m of water with a floating mullie which wasn’t very far out in the gulf on Saturday. I say WE as myself and a good mate “Mat” have never caught a Sailfish or Marlin before so we called it as a half effort on both sides as it was my rod with an old gang hook which may have been almost 5 or 6 years old but he rigged it.
Thank You Exmouth for a great time

Exmouth
I'll always be a sucker for the place, love it!
Congrats on the good array of species captured!
Might want to rethink your handling techniques with the billfish though.
Cheers,
Sam

Top stuff
looks like a young bird. Maybe it was tired and needed a rest or something frightened it out of the water ... (read jaws music).

Nice work on the fish
Nice work on the fish guys.
Thats a pretty fat saily!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Bird
Congrats on the billy. Great stuff. For some strange reason they say that if a bird shits on you it's good luck. I guess if it sits on you its even better.....
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
