swan river sesh
Me and my mate Aidan, went for a flick in the swan 2day to explore some new ground, at the first spot, using only 3 and 4lb leaders, we got busted off about 6 times by big fish. I ended up landing 11 flatties, biggest going about 48-50cm, and aidan only landing 3 flaties due to pulling the hooks on nearly every fish he hooked!!! lol. I also lost my fairshare of hookups.
on one of my retrieves, 4-5 sambos followed in my SP, but no hook up, they were about 70-80cm each. I flicked out my Sp again and retreived it really fast and it got hammerd by on of the sambos, had him on for about 10 seconds, peeling line of my Ci4 only to bust me off in the rocks.
then moved location and had a flick with some HBs, on about my fith cast, I hooked into a decent bream which gave me a bit of a fight. It went about 33-35cm - not to bad.
Unfortunately though, whilst removing the hook, the big fella was flapping arround in my hand, causing one of the sets of trebles to get imbeded into my finger!!
with the one treble in me, and the other in the bream, Aidan got the hook out of the fish whist being the clumbsy person he is, getting the hook deeper in me!!
any way, released the fish and couldn't get it out of me, so had to leave to get it removed.
brand new lure, so the barbs weren't crushed.

i didnt evan no u got sambos in the swan i was at canning bridge lasst night and hooked a beautie of a fish on snaped my line about 6 metres from the shore at the surface i hav no idea wat it was but it was fighting hard while i had it
