Hi all so was out checking pots this morning and have hit a large weed chunk in a leed line it actually block the water intake and set off alarm on the motor got to a safe area and lifted motor and weed that was left fell off everything seemed OK. Later I started getting the feeling that maybe I have spun the prop was able to get up on the plain and get home I didn't test it to much out there as I wanted to get ourselves home. How do I check at home if I have an issue?

If you got back to the ramp on a plane
Very unlikely that you have damaged the prop bushing

Hopefully no damage Guy,
Hopefully no damage Guy, amazingly yesterday while flushing mine the overheat alarm went off and no tell tail. I pulled out the top flush plug and gave it a flush that way.
Thankfully that sorted the issue, must've sucked something upon the way in. Don't need any issues right in the middle of the white run FFS

Haven't flushed mine on the muffs yet was abit early to run the 2 banger in the driveway when we got home just did a flush through the flush port I still like to run it on the muffs for a while. My mate looked pretty worried when the alarm started going off out on the ocean was a little funny he was asking me what's the alarm for.

To me that sounds a bit iffy.
To me that sounds a bit iffy. Not sure how to check something like that but google is your friend. I'm sure others have had that same issue .
Had weed around the prop blocking the intake and setting off the alarm before. Not a good feeling when the alarm goes off. Luckily the motor shuts down on its own straight away

If it has the rubber bushing
If it has the rubber bushing in the prop it could be stuffed. I've had one that slowly got worse and worse from hitting the sand all the time.
