Solo FADs trip, Perth

Fair amount of time between post's here.
Been getting out and making a few movies but none for me. Purchased my dream boat in that time and that has put the FADs in my range right on summer. After a few half hearted unsuccessful trips taking non fisherman mates out I got serious. Watch a bit of the trip prep and a few important things when fishing by yourself 50km offshore.
Click on the link to go through to youtube and watch there for highest quality, probably best to grab a beer as its a long one.
Cheers,

Nice video mate. Well done on the catch. I'm yet to venture out that far but find your video has fueled my desire to.
Quick question. What attachment are you using to mount your GoPro to your boats dash?

The dash GoPro is a
The dash GoPro is a combination of the GoPro bar clamp and a small ram mount arm coming off the T-top support. I wasn't happy with the angle at all and will modify it in the future, that GoPro didn't have stabilisation and it really showed editing.
If you want some pics let me know. The Ram mount stuff while expensive is excellent, really impressed with the front facing cameras mount plus the stabilisation, the way the camera has still delayed roll almost looks as if someone is holding it.

Cheers guys.
Yes I actually cut out a heap of netting footage, it was bloody frustrating at times.
Finished the day with 7 Mahi and 2 Tuna back by 11, absolutely stoked on how much fun it was in the metro area.
