well try a double jerk, reel in the slack, double jerk, reel in the slack.

or try this one when there isnt much current cast out let placcie sink to the bottom, lower rod tip reel in slack, lift rod tip straight up, let the placccie fall to the bottom again, lower rod tip, reel in slack. repeat that one.

first up make sure ya jig head is big enough to outrun da browies.
let the jig sink to the bottom 1 SHORT sharp lif sink to the bottom then 2 short lifts sink then 3 lifts then start at 1 again. the trick is also to watch your line as well for str4ikes as a bit of slack line on the surface can be a good thing inbetween twitches
