Snapper/Dhu regulations

Hey guys I know for at least a while there was a ban on fishing for snapper, dhu, berska cod and another species along the west coast. this ban was over breeding season like september to december 25th or something. But recently i heard this ban has been lifted. Can anyone tell me if this is true?? much appreciated.

It was decided with a change of governments that the new fisheries minister would not impose  the proposed ban at this stage until further research is conducted into the species involved.

 

There are new bag limits etc so it may pay to visit the below site.
