slam baits

has any one tried slam bait soft plastic lure, they look similar to berkley gulp and are both biodegradable with scent. I use gulp a crap load and was wondering if they have the same hit rates as the gulps. I was wondering if they are any good on demersal fish like snapper, due, black ass etc.

i have used the white and the green 7 inch slams and caught dhu"s and sambos on them imo they are o.k

They work well and a mate caught a few Barra using the 3' minnow on the weekend.
I've caught good fish on them

I've found them to be about as good as Gulp... and dirt cheap at Motackle at the moment!
