shark speices vs eating qlty + locations when posting content

Hi Everyone

Fairly new here and as everyone has stated the site has been flat so thought i may ask a silly question.

I just bought a new boat and have been out just a few times although cacthing some good quality fish i have been pulling in many types of sharks eg gummy, hammers, whiskerys etc.

I have been hooking them generally off Hillarys and was wondering what sharks are good to eat. I know Gummy obviously is GREAT eating just wondering about some of the other species you can catch out there!!!

Another thought is that people post catches with photos etc maybe it would be a good idea to give a location where you caught them...obviously not GPS coords but maybe the general area. People do live all over WA!

Heading up to Cervantes for Easter so hope to have some quality pics to post when i get back:)

Cheers

gummys are the best, but hammers and whiskerys are also good, but i believe with hammers, blacktips, ect the smaller ones are better than the large ones. dont forget all sharks should be bled and iced straight after capture.

Not only that but I am led to believe take the fins off and gut them as soon as bled to reduce ammonia taint.

I got into the reef sharks a few weeks back up at Cervantes....I can vouch for them as some FINE eating!
