4 mile
try the 4 mile 6 mile reef or the 8 mile, normally a few around bit of burley will help too

As mako magic said the
As mako magic said the 4-mile is usually a good bet. Basically directly north of the Siesta Park radio antannae(unmistakable big red antannae easily seen up to 6 miles offshore). Find a nice bit of bumpy bottom(variation in bottom height usually less than 1m) in 17-18m anchor, burley and wait. Usually will pick up good sized skippy while waiting too. Have even arsed pinkies and dhuis around there.
If lost, being the long weekend just look for the car park of boats out there!
