rotto fishing help
Submitted by silly on Sun, 2011-01-02 17:57
With the weather looking fairly good tomorow i've decided to take the boat out to rotto. I mainly fish inshore around the 3 mile and havent done much fishing around rotto or deep (30m +) for that matter. Which side of the island has the best grounds to target demersal? It is necessary to go out deaper to the 30's + or is fishing close to the island just as productive? Is there a reef system i should try? Mainly after dhu's, queenie's and KG's.
Also was going to pull in to a bay for lunch and a swim/freedive. Which would be the best where i can anchor and freedive for some crays. (out of the sanctuary zones etc)
Appreciate any help
Cheers
