Seriously considering buying this reel. I wanna use it for a bit of everything really. Primary focus will be driftbaiting and occy/pirate style jigs but would also like to use demersal jigs to about 150g. Will run a top quality PE2 braid on it.

So far i've looked at the Saltiga Bay Jigging rod which is lovely, but maybe a little too soft in the tip for my liking, but im open for suggestions. Also checked out a similar Smith rod with spiral wrap guides.

I prefer split grip because it looks SEXY.

Also very interested in Majorcraft rods. Any dealers in Perth?

Price not really an issue. An expensive reel deserves an expensive rod.
