hi i was just wondering im looking for a reel thats small in the 40 to 50 ranges i was wondering if u new any small reels in that range?

its best to work out a budget as well as if u have a rod already for the reel to go on, then states the specs of the rod and maybe what type of fishing you plan to use it for. Maybe also what u planning to catch mainly and where you fish.

Thats the best way u can match a perfect outfit to suit yourself.

As a follow up to Colin's suggestion, Alan Hawk on stripersonline.com pulled one of the Sorons apart and reviewed it:

Summary: He liked it. A lot. Best to check the price/performance ratio in Australia, though, as Alan's comments were based on the USD$150 purchase price and I have not checked the price of the Soron here for over 6 months.

you can get some good penn reels at that price and shimano reels but if you manage get a another 100 bucks 150 bucks will buy you a good reel thats gonna be comfortable to use and last for a long time

if you drop in toa tackle shop like oceanside they will help you greatly with choice of reel

for 80 bucks u can get a penn prestige. They're god for money reels. Dont look half bad and are a solid reel.
