quick gero report
just a real quickie this one guys as im out again over the next few days and will hopefully throw something decent together!
went out this morning for a solo dive - struggled trying to find a dive buddy but never mind stayed relatively shallow and took it easy
caught up with flagpole out there he was on tank and i left him when i headed in as he was off to try jig a couple of dhus..
first drop in 10m there where fish everrrrrrywhere... nothing huge beside the 2 40kg monster sambos that came in for a look... they where massive!
huge school of juvy yellowtail kings , buffys , small mackies , big parrots and ive never seen so many small trout! everything was chasing this bait school and was quiet a awesome spectical. Nailed a solid trout so all was good runs on the board in the first drop....
switched over to the camera to get some footage - got some half decent stuff of dhuies trout couple of blue groper etc but unfort the monster sambos didnt return...
tried a couple of other spots for not alot - current was fairly strong which made breathing up difficult
nailed a nice baldie of about 5kg and called it a day.....
had a ball viz was unreal and cant wait to do it all again tomorrow! hopefully ill bump into a big dhu this time round!
