Prawns in the swan last night

Gday sorry i dont have any Pics.

Went to lose my cherry last night and have a dab for the infamous swan river prawns. My brother and i were keen or so we thought and headed off about 3pm from Morley to go and get a good spot down East Freo way.

With a few pit stops we hit the water about 4pm keen as mustard to have a crack. To my surprise when we got out there there were already boats anchored up so we had a feed and a couple of Jacks and cokes and waited for it to get dark. By the time it got dark there were about 30 boats around us. Some boats doing very well and some not doing so well.  we ended up calling it quits about 9pm.

The best catch we saw was about 9 liters, My brother and i ended up with about 50 prawns so all in all a good night.  i didnt get wet but ended up with a few prawns and i had a very enjoyable night on the river and would happily do it again.

Your smart not getting wet this time of year. I love diving for prawns and hate freezing my arse off doing it. Well done on a good feed.

yes it was a lot harder work

yes it was a lot harder work than a swim around looking for them i reckon i would get between 30 and 100 on most dives but the water is getting cold last time it was only 15 degree's and it will get colder. Till more pratice = better bottom time i can get any ware from 50 min to 80min depending on the cold and effort i put in
