Has anybody used these Williamson Poppers for chucking around?
Was just curious on how they went!!!! Looks like they've got all the bells and whistles....

was too busy casting around dunbell poppers from r2s ...
hopefully on of the exmouth/karratha boys have tried em as id be interested to know if they work as well.

Colour is very important on
Colour is very important on a popper. It allows you to see it a lot easier :p Though, apparently it doesnt matter to the fish because all they see is a silhouette.
I guess if they didnt look the part, people wouldnt be as confident buying them. A lot of sales will be due to how effective they look. Ones that dont look effective probably wont sell as well (unless they get good word of mouth). As several fishos say, the most important thing is that you are confident using it.
I must say the richter plugs look pretty crappy (i.e. the moulding looks cheap), but they work well :D.

I think these retail for around $30 which compared to $150 some pay is self explainitary......
I can answer all your qeustions but it will cost ya a million.....ha ha
personally for me its the hook end thats gota hold.......cause my fish are big...ha ha

they're ok but nothing special. for your money I think you'd be better off buying dumbells. definately upgrade the trebles.

Lures
Lures are designed to catch fishermen not fish.I have never seen a fish that can read let alone front up to a counter with money.Like everyone I have lure in my box that catch and a lot that look good to me but are not worth a pinch of manure

I agree that a lot of the
I agree that a lot of the bling is for the fisherman. But color does matter as well as flash. Water clarity, type of bait fish and time of day are some of the main things I consider when choosing which lure to drag out. I reckon that these would be good for a slow troll, with those little jet holes in the face they would create heaps of bubbles and would be cracker Mackeral lures. I would run one of these in the middle of my spread with a couple of divers either side.

Have caught tuna on a bit of rag[any colour]tied to a hook trolled through the water plus salmon on a bit of garden hose the same way we use drinking straws to catch herring
