We really needed a name for the site and thought of things like whatacatch.com and deepspot.com, but they didn't really work. We all sat down one night and tried to work on something until Gribbo came up with fishwrecked and it seemed to fit with our love of fishing, wrecked on fishing. We then started playing around with a photo of my shark from Exmouth last year and it seemed to suit the name appropriately. And so it was born. :)
Deep spot came from the comment "deep spot by the point" where all the fish are. Ie a deep hole where we once thought fish may congregate for land based fishing, be it at the beach or from the rocks. Hence the term "deep spot by the point" was born....

And "Fishwrecked" actually started as a name for a boat. (just for the record).
Yep, the deep spot at the point. Must be about time for another crack at the deep spots down south eh! Just wait for the tracks to dry out after all the rain and i'll be there.
