One for the (marine) rev heads... Mercury Quickleen, Quickare... any good for a 2005 115 merc saltwater optimax 2 stroke?

hi guys

 

Just wondering if any of you more mechanically informed members could tell me if that new (formula) quickleen and quickare stuff is able to be put in a mercury 2005 115 merc saltwater optimax 2 stroke? or are they more designed for 4 strokes?

 I have a 200 Optimax that has done over 1000hrs. Have started using Quicksilver Quickleen ever 50 hrs and have noticed the difference. Was having a few dramas with the plugs and injecters getting dirty. Don't know why it was happing(might be crap fuel or just the motor showing its age) but the quickleen has worked really well to keep them clean.

think its for all merc spaniard. I wasnt sure if it was just for 4 stroke or 2 stroke turns out its for both. Dont reckon it would hurt using it on any decent outboard i would think

 

anyone know where to get this stuff online? I live in regional and none of the marine shops here stock it...

The quickleen , fuel stablizer and just cleaner from mercury are products to maintain your fuel system carb , injectors etc.

I'm a PRO-MA distributor and have the same sort of products well one in particular that treats petrol.PT5 has an octane boost that adds 6 points on the octane rating to your fuel.A surfactant to breaks down water in the that we get from the service station and also condensation in our tanks. detergants to cleans anything that the fuel comes in contact with.A top oil lubicant and a combustion modifier.

A 500ml bottle cost $20 and treats 625ml .

I have twin 115 hp merc's 4 strokes and use all the products in them.
