With a 4mt swell this arvo, it should be worth a crack????
Is 50lb braid and 50lb mono leader big enough??
Any tips??

Tips
Yes its worth it, we were down there last night after work and a few fish landed.
We use 50lb braid, 100lb wind on leader and our rig is made out of 80lb.
The key is to have plenty of wear-n-tear protection from the nasty rocks.

Thanks mate and yeh bring it in and we'll sort out your reel service.
You can get pinkys off the beach in certain areas but we prefer the rock walls for more consistent results.

2 hours was enough for me,
2 hours was enough for me, seen a couple of fish dropped
I had no runs, might go back tommorrow.
didnt relly like the idea of my ute gettin covered in salt, gave me an excuse to wash it.

Is 30lb Mono only ok?

Just a question about whether or not 30lb mono only can be used of the rock at North Mole. As I read Oceanside's comment of what they used " We use 50lb braid,
