Last few nights at work have had a fair bit of down time. Thought I would share a couple of things that I found interesting. First up is the du-bro ezy twist perfect haywire twist every time. YouTube it I thought this was great. Owner hooks.com I'm one for supporting local tackle stores but I also like to try save a buck were I can the 12/0 hooks I was after I found extremely cheap here. And the other i found to good to b true was the twist weld leader never seen this wire leader before. Has anyone ever heard of this or used it? The say u don't need crimps just twist and heat the plastic coating up and bingo 100% knot strength so they say??

hot melt
not too keen on the hot melt myself, although I usually have a pack for emergencys but all my pre tied rigs involving wire have either 49 strand or single strand

Yeah mate, I use the shogun
Yeah mate, I use the shogun stuff for ballooning rigs. I still crimp it though, just to be sure. use a flemished eye on either end for a bit of 'insurance' too.
