Reels we must have even though we don't need em

I'm thinking a lot of guys are loosing their minds on this one because it's perfect for near shore jigging and casting. Up till now folks have been using Certates and such for that, but now theres a Saltiga for that range. This is a reel that no one is going to need but everyone will still want to buy just cause it's so cool. It's going to be hard to resist temptation, he he he.

Manufacturers nowadays dont create products that customer need but what customer want. They just market it like a "need"

Very Sexy

Very Sexy looking reel indeed. Will have to wait and see what price it gets tagged with here in Oz. I've learnt the value of buying quality gear in the last two weeks, worth every cent.

I like Jarvis Walker

Yup, despite the quality of Jarvis Walker, I wouldn't be as confident as bringing a super Shimano stable of Stellas and Japanese Twinpowers on a Long Range Trip, such as your envious efforts Adam. =)

Or, if you are so inclined, Saltigas, Accurates, Van Staals, and what have you.

I'm still green, and think I will remain that way for a good week or so. Especially since I can still stress that I sucessfully landed NOTHING worthy of a big brag. boooooo

;)
