Willy, the Minister for Morale Amonst Fisherman, has decided to impose more bans upon fishermen following the decrease in cray bag limits and the continued closure of crabbing in Cockburn
As of 01 Nov 08, the following new measures will be implemented and enforced.
1. All recreational anglers will assist the pros for one day per week. This will be performed on a rotational basis. All Fishwrecked members will allowed the option of choosing which day you would prefer.
2. Recreational anglers will only be allowed to fish for Herring, Garfish and Toadies, until such time as the professionals deplete their stocks. These fish shall now be known as the Unwanted 3 (U3).
3. Recreational anglers will only be allowed to fish for the U3 using no more than 5 meters of cotton (not that nylon stuff, too strong) a bent hairpin (blunt) and a maggot. Bag limits and seasonal closures will also apply
4. Recreational anglers will not be allowed the use of a boats. This is the exclusive domain of the Professionals. Besides with the cost of fuel and the limited number of fish who would want a boat?

UPDATE
As from Nov 12th fishing from beaches ( which includes rocky shorelines)will be banned! Council committees have banded together in an effort to curb the continual stubbing of toes on hidden objects & the likelyhood of fatal crab bites while wading.
From Nov 12 fishing will only be allowed at very high tide from promenades, & road verges. However there will be special pensioner areas close to the water for councillors,their mates, politicians, their mates, & special pensioners only ( 100 years old & onwards)
Children will not be encouraged on the beaches anytime!
REMEMBER, YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL IS WANKING FOR YOU.

in view of the bad kitchen pratices on Iron Chef and clashes with gordon Ramsay on thursday nights, the Department has implemented an immediate ban on sea cucumbers in salads served with sushi in Perth.
